Planet is a small studio doing work that bigger agencies would split across three departments. You get more responsibility, a wider range of work, and less waiting for permission. The standard is high and the feedback is direct.
01 — How we work
How the studio actually runs.
We work from the New Cairo studio four days a week, and from home on Sundays. Our main hours overlap so we can review work together in person; you arrange the rest of your day.
Work gets discussed, not just signed off. Everyone presents their own ideas, including the most junior people, and everyone is expected to explain them. Being senior means more responsibility, not more airtime.
We protect your focus. Meetings are grouped together, messages do not need an instant reply, and nobody is expected to answer anything after hours.
02 — What we hold each other to
- PreciseEvery decision has a reason we can explain to you. Being careful is not the same as being cold — it is respect for your customers' time and your money.
- MagneticWe would rather draw people in than interrupt them. Adverts that shout get ignored. Work that people actually want to look at lasts much longer.
- At home in Arabic and EnglishWe write in both languages from the start, so the Arabic sounds natural instead of translated at the last minute. We are based in Cairo and know the region.
- Quietly playfulSerious work does not have to be dull. We keep a light touch in the small details, and leave it out where it would not belong.
- Proof over promiseIf we claim something, we show the number or the example behind it. If we cannot back it up, we leave it out and tell you why.
- Built to hand overWe build things your team can run without us: guides you can follow, websites you can edit and plans you can carry out. We do not want you dependent on us.

Take branding and campaign work from first idea to final files. You will lead projects and guide one or two designers.
What you’ll do
- Lead the visual ideas for branding and campaign projects
- Build brand guides that clients can follow themselves
- Present work to clients and explain the thinking behind it
- Keep the quality standard high across everything we make
- Mentor junior designers through critique
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years in an agency or studio environment
- A portfolio showing complete brand systems, not only single pieces
- Confident with Arabic and English typography
- Comfortable presenting, and being disagreed with
- Knows how to prepare files for print and production
Plan what our clients post and why, across healthcare, finance and hospitality. Write and edit in both Arabic and English.
What you’ll do
- Decide what each brand should talk about, and why
- Write both long and short pieces in Arabic and English
- Run the monthly posting calendar for several clients
- Turn last month's results into next month's plan
- Give designers and video editors clear instructions
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years in content strategy or editorial
- Native-level Arabic writing and strong English
- Examples of work that changed a result, not just filled a feed
- Comfortable reading analytics tools
Animate brand designs, edit brand films, and build the libraries of short clips that keep campaigns running all year.
What you’ll do
- Animate logos, brand elements and website motion
- Edit and colour-correct brand films and their short versions
- Build subtitle and on-screen caption styles in both languages
- Keep animation consistent across every client
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years in motion design
- After Effects and Premiere to a professional standard
- A showreel with real client work, not only personal experiments
- Helpful to have: Cinema 4D or Blender, and colour grading experience
Plan, run and improve paid advertising on Facebook, Instagram, Google and TikTok — and tell clients honestly what the results show.
What you’ll do
- Set up and manage advertising campaigns
- Plan tests to find which adverts work best
- Set up tracking so we can see which ads led to sales
- Present the monthly results to clients
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years managing advertising budgets
- Meta and Google Ads certification, or equivalent proof
- Strong with analytics tools and spreadsheets
- Willing to recommend spending less when that is the right answer
A paid six-month internship with real client work, weekly feedback sessions, and a mentor from day one. Two places each intake.
What you’ll do
- Help on live branding and campaign projects
- Resize and adapt designs for social media and campaigns
- Present your own work in the weekly feedback session
- Keep files and image libraries organised
What we’re looking for
- A portfolio showing potential and curiosity
- Working knowledge of Figma and Adobe CC
- Arabic and English
- Available four days a week for six months
